A year after George Floyd, Los Angeles confronts its future and its past



New York Times, 05/25 – As the nation observes the anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, activists and organizations like Dignity and Power NOW are taking stock of their wins and setbacks over the last year. They say the biggest change may be the number of people who have been awakened to issues around police and race.
