Restore Justice Illinois (RJI)  is a civic organization founded to mitigate the human and fiscal impact of the extreme sentencing laws of the 1980s and 1990s, particularly where they have impacted children.

With support from Art for Justice, RJI advocates for more early releases, testing and transparency to mitigate COVID-19 outbreaks in Illinois prisons. They also further policy and legislative efforts focused on extreme sentencing for Illinois youth as well as advocating for the right to vote for people who are incarcerated.
