Trailer Released for Film Portraying Bryan Stevenson’s Groundbreaking Criminal Justice Reform Work

On September 4, Warner Bros. Pictures released the trailer for its upcoming film Just Mercy, which is based on the bestselling memoir of the same name by Bryan Stevenson, founder of Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). Starring Michael B. Jordan as Stevenson alongside Academy Award-winners Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson, the film portrays his work fighting for the lives of people on death row and the founding of EJI. 

EJI is a Fall 2017 recipient of an Art for Justice Fund grant focused on the Changing Narratives Through Art, Keeping People Out of Jail and Prison and Shortening Sentences strategies.
